We drew on all the experience gained from designing and riding the original Deathgrip to create the Deathgrip2. After years spent perfecting the grip design with Brendan Fairclough, Olly Wilkins and the DMR team, as well as with riders from around the world and of all levels, we knew we had the winning formula. We kept the features riders loved and added fundamental improvements.

The DMR Deathgrip2 takes the pattern and layout that inspired a whole generation of MTB grips: a soft mushroom-shaped section for optimal comfort at the thumb and index finger, preventing blisters. The diamond knurl provides maximum grip on all terrain and in all conditions, while the waffle-textured underside keeps your fingers in the ideal position for a perfect hold and control. Thanks to its tapered core, the Deathgrip mounts easily and securely to the handlebar, and the use of a single clamp ring ensures simple and precise installation. The krayton rubber compounds we use for our grips are soft and comfortable, whilst being durable and lightweight. Choose the diameter (thin or thick) and the option with or without flanges: the choice is yours.

We kept what made the Deathgrip great and added:

• An exposed core for increased durability, even in the most extreme conditions.

• A new injection-moulded DMR end cap for optimal customisation and colour matching.

• The new DMR Deathgrip2 clamp ring is slimmer, more refined and better integrated into the grip.

• Precise millimetre-perfect positioning of mushroom, waffle and knurl textures for exceptional grip.
