The BB Common was a staple of bottom bracket tools before things got complicated with oversized spindles and press-fit. These start as a solid aluminium billet and are precision machined for a clean, pleasant fit. They use a 3/8" square drive for use with your favourite ratchet or torque wrench. We even engrave the default torque specifications on them so you no longer have to look them up.
