Many athletes are fortunate enough to be able to ride almost anything. For those who are sensitive to bike fit, reproducing the fit on a new bike or confirming the fit after travel can be a challenge involving a lot of trial and error. 

This set of tools allows precise and reproducible measurements for saddle height, angle and setback. Accuracy and repeatable measurements also serve as a basis for making adjustments to fit.

The magnetic saddle height balls (sizes 8mm and 10mm) guarantee you a precise centre at the bottom bracket by positioning themselves in the crank fixing bolt or the crank preload cap of Shimano caps. This allows you to focus on the smart end of the tape measure at the saddle.

Two marks on the saddle plate allow you to take a measurement in exactly the same place relative to the saddle nose. This gives you accuracy to within a millimetre, enough to satisfy the most particular or injury-prone athlete.

The front of the saddle is engraved with a ruler (metric of course) to allow you to calculate saddle setback. This allows you to drop the plumb line on the side of the bike.

The wide plate has ample space to mount a level, protractor or phone to adjust the saddle angle. This is particularly useful for non-traditional saddles like SMP and Adamo. This kit is ideal for cyclists who travel and must regularly reassemble their bike, bike fitters and mechanics in the workshop and in the field. 

 The complete kit includes the saddle plate, the Shimano preload tool, two tools (8mm and 10mm). The Shimano preload tool and saddle height balls can be purchased separately.
