The bearing drift is designed for the SRAM DUB crankset/bottom bracket and is intended to be used with Abbey Bike Tools' modular bearing press.

SRAM recently launched a new bottom bracket called DUB to improve bearing durability and compatibility with modern frames. This 28.99mm crankset and its PressFit bottom bracket require special bearing drifts for correct installation. We worked with the SRAM team to develop tools for this and made some simple but important adjustments compared to a standard bearing drift.

These bearing drifts from Abbey Bike Tools have a tapered boss that forces the small O-ring into its housing. A normal bearing drift with a square boss can easily tear this fragile O-ring which contributes to the bearing's durability. Thus, this basic modification ensures that your bottom bracket benefits from the durability for which it was designed.
