Cutting steerer tubes hasn't become any easier on modern bikes. Looking for a super clean look, bikes route cables through headsets and steerer tubes, making tasks that were once quick and simple much longer. Until now! The special feature of our saw guide is that the collar is open, so you can slide it around the steerer tube instead of having to slide it over the end. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but it means you can get a precise, square cut without removing the fork from the bike and, more importantly, without removing all the cables from the bike. Use this tool once for this application and it has already paid for itself. Of course, it will also work on normal steerer tubes and give you a nice straight cut every time.

The guide is double-sided, one side for standard serrated metal cutting blades and the other side is wider for abrasive blades used to cut composites. You can also use the guide in a vice as you're probably used to, and it's compact enough if you want to travel with it.

Compatible with 1" and 1.125" steerer tubes.
