This new addition to the Crombie family is specifically designed to work with the new external splined lockrings found on new Shimano mountain bike drivetrains fitted with a 9-tooth final cog. 

This new Crombie tool features one side for the new nine-tooth lockring, whilst retaining the traditional 'S Group' Thru Axle tool on the other side. This makes it an ideal choice for modern mountain bike and gravel specialist shops or garages.
