The Barmate Aluminium handlebar was designed first and foremost to offer compatibility and stability.

Even the widest direct-mount stems we know of pose no problem with the 85 mm clamp width of the Barmate Aluminium.

Thanks to a rigorous selection of high-quality materials and specific heat treatment, the Barmate Aluminium meets the most demanding safety standards (EFBE TRI-TEST® MTB-Gravity) of the German testing institute EFBE, while weighing in at a featherlight 325 g.

Of course, all our handlebars are also compatible with our BikeYoke Barkeeper bar retention system.

Two finishes are available.

Black on black:

The handlebar, profiled and of variable thickness, is first hand-brushed. The logos and markings are then laser-engraved onto its raw surface. Only after this step is the handlebar fully anodised in black. This results in an elegant and understated finish.

Silver/black:

The handlebars, previously profiled and adjusted, are first hand-brushed. They are then anodised in silver. One side is masked and the other anodised in black. Only after this step are the logos and laser engravings applied. The result: a unique and striking silver/black finish.

35 mm carbon handlebars are often, and rightly so, considered too stiff and uncomfortable.
