A chain whip is a fairly simple tool, but the Whip-It maximises functionality and simplicity. The Whip-It is made from a 12-inch stainless steel bar to give you enough leverage to loosen even the most stubborn cassettes. The Whip-It's round handle offers superior comfort to other flat bar chain whips on the market. The icing on the cake is that Abbey's signature tool, the Crombie (sold separately), stores inside the Whip-It's handle! This means the two tools you use together are stored together and travel together, saving you less clutter in your toolbox.

The Whip-It is available in two versions, one for the 1/2" handle for all Crombies made by Abbey from January 2020, this version also works for double-sided Crombies and team models before January 2020. There is also a version for the old 3/8" handle chain whips that were sold before January 2020.

Our whips use a 10-speed chain and are compatible with 7 to 13-speed cassettes from all major manufacturers.
