With many pedal manufacturers abandoning 15 mm wrench flats, the traditional pedal wrench is becoming obsolete. To complicate matters further, some manufacturers require both 6 and 8 mm wrenches in their product range. This means it's difficult to know exactly which tool to use to remove or install pedals. That's where the Abbey Shop pedal wrench comes in. With the once-standard 15 mm box end on one side and a custom pivoting 6 and 8 mm tip at the other end, it's the only pedal wrench you'll ever need. Perfect to keep at the fitting station, on the sales floor, at the hire fleet counter and certainly at the workbench.
The Team Issue pedal wrench is something we've been custom-making for our sponsored mechanics for a few years. Now they're available in limited quantities to the tool-buying public. These tools have five large pockets of material removed to reduce the weight from 434 grams to 286! This makes it an excellent travel tool for cyclists or mechanics who don't want to sacrifice ease of use for weight savings. Whilst we are confident in the great durability of this tool under normal conditions, it is not recommended for seized or abused equipment.
