WHY WE CREATED IT
In short, fat bike enthusiasts deserve the same absolute perfection from their hubs as everyone else. Who doesn't dream of perfection? Thanks to its larger diameter hub bearing, the Boost DH 6-Bolt is built to tackle rough terrain and demanding disciplines such as downhill and enduro.
WHY YOU WANT IT
Aggressive mountain biking demands high-performance equipment. When every decision must translate instantly, you need a hub with near-telepathic responsiveness. We use one-piece axles for a rigid hub and surgically precise steering, transmitting your every correction to the trail. To protect you from mud, water and contaminants during your most technical descents, ISO hubs are equipped with reinforced seals and circlips offering optimal protection and minimal friction.
Our steel and ceramic bearings feature thermally treated surgical steel races, machined simultaneously for a perfect fit. The quality and speed of our bearings will be felt (and heard) on every ride. The more Chris King bearing races are broken in, the faster they become. Regular maintenance, even minimal, will ensure the longevity of this hub, even after many years of intensive use.
