At Open we live, breathe and dream: Bikes! Andy's career began as a downhiller (at a time when helmets were still optional) then, president of BMC for nearly 10 years before becoming sales director at Cervélo. Gerard, meanwhile, is the co-founder of Cervélo, where he successively held the positions of: engineer, designer, salesman, developer and finally marketing manager.

Open…

Open means "open-mindedness", we listen to everyone: retailers, salespeople, users, enthusiasts…

Thus, we are nourished and evolve through the ideas brought by them. Open products are the result of these interactive exchanges between enthusiasts and users.

Simple…

If "Open" is our goal, the tool must be simple.

"Relentless simplicity" was our Leitmotiv. The objective was to obtain a high-quality product, technologically very accomplished, whilst maintaining extreme "simplicity"

To achieve this, we focus on the following points:

- Create one model per category

- Provide access to the information you need, as simply as possible

- Be available to answer your questions

- Give everyone the chance to contribute concretely to Open's success

- Work only with partners selected for their professionalism in each country, in order to satisfy customers

- Create marketing for and with users

- Simplify logistics by creating three hubs around the world, to serve customers as quickly as possible.
